Step Work 2.0

My name is Russ and I haven't had a bet today or since my last meeting. So I want to go back to my final question and answer from Step 12 which was;

Am I willing to work the 12 Steps again starting with Step 1?

Absolutely not. There are a few of the Steps I have zero interest in working again and I’m not ashamed to admit that. I can see myself doing a yearly Step 10 and maybe going back and working Step 4 again as it was one of my favourite Steps. Of course, Step 12 is an obvious continuous one but that is probably about it. I know where they are if I feel the need to work any in this way but for me applying them to my daily life is the next step for me.

Well, I was wrong. I'm big enough to hold my hands up to that because I am planning to work The Steps again and this time, hopefully, it'll be even more in depth. The schedule I'll be trying to keep will be posted below and what resources I am using. I was sent this by a good friend in recovery and we are going to try and work through it together. I've also been doing a weekly step meeting with a couple of folks from my local G.A. and this has given me the taste to write The Steps again. After what happened between me and my former Sponsor and with my former group I'm not convinced I did the last few steps justice either so this will be a good opportunity to fix that. As always, anything in italics and/or bold will be from the literature and the rest will be my own stuff. I will link each step below once it is completed and it can be accessed by clicking on the week in question.
